The Two of Swords is about a stalemate and, ultimately, about aspiring to achieve a balance. To draw this card is to realie that you are at an impasse and, at this time, paralized by your fears. A choice needs to be made in order to upset the impasse and move forward. The reader must come to the realization that perhaps the reason for this is because she or he is not ready to accept some truth about themselves or the situation.
The person reading the cards must realize that inner peace, clarity and balance are necessary in order to break the impasse and conquer the issues at hand. Harmony is useful, but there is a fine line between harmony and stagnancy. Thanks to everyone for the stock!  Silventar, primary photographer for the deck, for the female figure and Japanese swords. The swords are actually two different Japanese weapons. The longer one is a katana, and the shorter is a wakizashi. Both were used by Samurai of ancient Japan for different purposes. The photographer who took the image of the woman laid these swords in front of her, where I had originally intended to use them, but when I thought about the meaning of the card, it seemed more appropriate to balance them over her head. You are right, though... if you don't know they're supposed to be different swords, it could look somewhat visually confusing.
I'm always very glad to use your stock! You provide such wonderful fodder for my work, especially for this deck in particular!
